Peterborough Cathedral

Sanderstead Singers have sung at Peterborough Cathedral three times. Firstly in August 1998 and then August 2002 and August 2016.

The two photographs opposite are of Sanderstead Singers in 1998 and 2002. The photograph overleaf is of the choir in 2016.

The 1998 visit saw anthems by Bruckner and Bairstow. The Choirmaster for the 1998 visit was Fred Irvine and the Organist was John Eagles.

At the 2002 services the choir sang anthems composed by Stanford, Sumsion and Finzi. On this occasion the Choirmaster was also Fred Irvine but the Organist was Dan Soper.
