Wells Cathedral

Sanderstead Singers first sang at Wells Cathedral in August 1992. This was their second choir camp since their formation in 1991. They were later to sign there again in 2009 and 2013.

On the first occasion the Choir sang anthems by Stanford and Baristow. The Choirmaster was Fred Irvine and the Organist was John Eagles. A photograph of the Choir at the 1992 Choir Camp can be seen opposite.

On the second occasion the choir sang anthems by Elgar and Balfour Gardiner. On this occasion the Choirmaster was Fred Irvine and the Organist was Dan Soper. A photograph of the choir at the 2009 ChoirCamp can also bee seen opposite.
