England's Cathedrals with Sanderstead Singers

Introduction

Sanderstead Singers was formed in 1991 to sing the daily services at Salisbury Cathedral for a week that summer.

Although the group did not initially expect to continue beyond that initial week, it has over the past 30 years survived to sing at 24 cathedrals. The Cathedrals range from Portsmouth in the South, to York Minster in the North, and Exeter in the West, to St. Edmundsbury in the East.

Over recent years, the choir has also sung regularly at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London and made its debut at Westminster Abbey over Easter 2012.

Before reading the booklet here are a few words about its structure.
