There is a break in tradition this year with the service on the Wednesday. Instead of the Setting being from the Tudor period, there is an acknowledgement of the 300th anniversary of the death of Daniel Purcell. This is with his Manigificat and Nunc Dimittis, a Setting from the Baroque period.
The final anthem for the visit to Norwich was 'Ascribe unto the Lord' by Wesley. The anthem was followed by an organ voluntary, Brewer'sMarche heroïque.
