Sanderstead Singers - Dan Soper - Organist

Dan Soper has been the principal organist of Sanderstead Singers since 2002, having been one of our original Trebles in 1991. He spent his gap year as Organ Scholar at Chelmsford Cathedral, under Peter Nardone. He is a music graduate of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and an Associate of the Royal College of Organists.

After a year as Assistant Organist of Winchester College working with the Quiristers, he moved to Rochester Cathedral where he was Assistant Director of Music (with responsibility for the Girls’ Choir) from September 2006 to October 2010, initially under Roger Sayer and subsequently under Scott Farrell.

After a year as Assistant Director of Music at Dartford Parish Church, he moved to his current post as Assistant Director of Music at St. Edmundsbury Cathedral in November 2011.
