Sanderstead Singers - Virtual Service for Sunday August 23rd 2020

The August 2020 Sanderstead Singers' Chior Camp was due to be at Canterbury Cathedral.

The Choir Camp was sadly cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The choir worked hard during pratice time and recorded a Virtual Evensong Service for Sunday 23rd August 2020. This was the last day of the Choir Camp at Canterbury Cathedral and was also the Eve of St Bartholomew.

The readings, prayers and Anthem are particularly relevant for the Eve of St Bartholomew.

The Cantor for the service was Fr. David Viven, the Old Testament reading was read by Tim Crump, the New Testament reading was read by Fred Irvine and the prayers were led by Fr. Neil Roberts. The Organist, Editor and Director was Dan Soper. The end of the week marked the first week for Dan as Director of Music for Sanderstead Singers.
